MCAD Conversations

Thursday, Oct. 7, 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

MCAD Conversations, hosted by the liberal arts department, features faculty members Ruth Voights and Tom Pope, who explore themes and ideas in the context of a relaxed, lunchtime setting. Sessions begin Sept. 2 and run the first Thursday of the month through December.

Topics to include “What is a conversation?”, “What is a ‘great’ work of art?”, “What is spirituality?”, and “What is natural?”





National Portfolio Day

National Portfolio Day is an event for visual artists and designers, who are pursuing an education in the visual and related arts. Prospective students are able to meet with representatives from colleges accredited by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design who make themselves available to review artwork, discuss their programs and answer questions about professional careers in art. High school students, parents, teachers, guidance counselors and college transfer students are encouraged to attend.
